Scenic drive via Yamdrok Lake and Gyantse.
Long drive into Western Tibet. Landscapes change dramatically.
Reach the gateway town to Mount Kailash. Final preparation for kora.
Trek from Darchen to Dirapuk Monastery (20km). Views of Kailash north face.
Cross Dolma La Pass (5,640m), the highest point. Trek to Zutulpuk (18km).
Complete kora back to Darchen (14km). Drive to Lake Manasarovar.
Morning at Manasarovar. Afternoon explore the ruins of Guge Kingdom.
Long drive back with stops for photos and wildlife spotting.
Drive back to Lhasa. Farewell dinner.
Airport transfer. Journey complete.
